so i'm more on the introverted side and for the longest time i've had a hard time putting myself out there, but i really want to step out of my comfort zone. i know it has a lot to do with self-confidence issues which is something i'm tryna work on. got any advice?

I have heard that if you miss an assignment and it cant be turned in late- DO IT ANYWAY! When you submit it acknowledge that you know the assignment cant earn credit but it was important to you and important that yiu had the experience of the assignment. the professor will definitely want to help you.

I think that receiving an F can be on the professor. I took a math class and the lead professor taught it. It was AWFUL! Got an F. Took it in the spring with an associate prof and got a 97%. It’s how the instructor teaches, too! 💗 Love your posts! So informative! I send them to my college student all the time!

if you are struggling for money while in college. Visit a food bank or just volunteer there even if you are not in need. Even if you don't have all the paperwork needed they will usually give a little something and guide you to where you can go to get help feeding yourself.

As a Missouri state student going into their sophomore year, these events def happened and are very true. Just know that some of these situations are unavoidable, so don’t feel bad that it happened. p.s to incoming freshman, make as many connections as you can to lay a foundation on how you want your college experience to go 😊

I’m just genuinely scared of failing. An old friend would call me stupid if I got anything lower than an A- on a test and now that’s all that goes through my brain if I get anything lower than an A-. I put an immense amount of pressure on myself and I don’t know how to stop doing that or escape it.

If you are in a situation where you need to get leniency on a late assignment, brevity is key. A quick explanation and taking responsibility will go father than a rundown on drama😫😭😖🤮. Keep a good attitude, they are possibly doing you a favor..Don't burn bridges.

for the first one, if they’re hesitant to accept it then you can verbalize your mistake and plan to fix it in the future with them. it almost always swayed them to give you a single freebie, ESPECIALLY if you prove yourself afterwards. if you happen to have a prof for multiple classes, having good karma with a prof can save you for if you have a really off week/month. as long as you’re normally a good student and show that with your profs, they tend to learn exactly what you specifically may need. it’s to the point with most of my profs where if i ask for an extension they tell me to name the day and keep it, only exception is if it’s at the end of the semester and they need to submit the grade at a certain date so has a slightly earlier hard “final hand in day”
