That voice IS their real voice, they had that voice since they were kids, they just had to mask it to avoid being bullied. The “masc” voice is not theirs

I think that what you’re referring to is not necessarily their “voice” but the fact that they have more expressive tones. With more pitch and variation in how it’s acceptable for them to speak where as straight men are typically barred from showing expressions or differences in tonality or you’re considered “zesty”… this isn’t the same in white culture in the US where you’ll find their men are a lot more expressive
