It's the fact that I had to leave ethnicity and diversity workplace groups I was in because any time I talked about race, they immediately veered off into neurodiversity, physical/mental disabilities & age etc. Meanwhile I'm like wow...so you've developed whole inclusion workplace groups but still race isn't talked about or thought about 😑

I don’t understand why people do this. I am a white cis woman who happens to be a lesbian. Have I had a tough time at times? Yes. But I can also acknowledge and accept that black queer folx, specifically black trans women,are affected disproportionately. If I am in your space, I am not there to make it mine or take up space. I am a guest who is there to support you. I don’t understand why people need to have pick me energy and cannot read a room.
