One of my favorite springs. I use to take my home schoolers there early mornings because the spring would long lines sometimes and wanted to be the crowd. I never knew about the botanical garden. So many people would talk about the healing that water did for them while you wait your turn. Great memories 🥰

Indian Springs is beautiful. Dauset Trails is just down the road with lots of animals to see and it’s free. Also High Falls state park and they have a small water park.

I absolutely LOVE these videos where parents that homeschool do these amazing field trips bc many don’t do things like this but you’re an amazing mama and teacher Thank you for sharing with us! the ice cream place is usually open on weekends. I havent been to Indian springs in too long! it's one of my favorite places but life gets busy...thanks for the reminder!

i grew up homeschooled and field trip days like this were always SO fun and memorable for me! the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic park in macon is worth visiting too :)
