God bless you. Just the way the Japanese and Italians maintain Tofu and Pizza respectively. Akara is akara, not bean cake, moi moi is moi moi, not beans pudding, iyan is iyan, not pounded yam, etc. We all need to decolonize our minds and the names we choose for certain things including our names because I don't see any reason an African should bear a European name.
