"The Cambodian soldiers who lost their lives were victims of a failed and cowardly leadership. They were sons of innocent families, forced to sacrifice themselves under the command of an individual who has never shown the slightest responsibility toward his own people. Instead, he uses others' lives as political tools—deploying civilians as human shields, vanishing in times of crisis, and leaving his nation engulfed in the flames of destruction. We condemn in the strongest possible terms the barbaric and inhumane actions of ordering explosive attacks into Thai territory—including gas stations, hospitals, and densely populated civilian zones. These acts constitute grave violations of humanitarian principles and have resulted in the injury and loss of life of innocent Thai and foreign civilians alike. Moreover, the Cambodian government has deliberately disseminated false and distorted information, accusing Thailand of initiating the aggression. In truth, the reality is entirely the opposite. Such actions not only deceive their own people but also insult the principles of truth and justice at the international level. At the root of this catastrophe is a single man—Hun Sen—who has brought disgrace upon his nation with his own hands."
