🇹🇭Thailand has been helping Cambodia for years giving education to Cambodian children near the border, and letting them receive medical treatment in Thai hospitals. Thailand loses hundreds of millions of US dollars every year doing this. What Thailand got was a hospital bombing?... Why?... And Thailand has always desired peace and has supported the Cambodian people in many ways for decades. Thai hospitals have treated Cambodian patients free of charge, and numerous scholarships have been granted to Cambodian students. Looking back at history, during the Khmer Rouge regime, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit helped establish refugee camps to provide safety and support. Thai employers have also hired many Cambodian workers, enabling them to earn a living and send money home to their families. Despite all these efforts, it often feels like nothing Thailand does is ever enough.

As for Cambodia, schools were closed and students stopped studying. Thai students died.Evidence from thermal imaging of the explosives recorded by satellites also clearly indicates the time period. Cambodia opened fire on Thailand first at 08:20 24/7/2025 with small machine guns and RPGs and used BM21 multi-barrel rocket launchers to shoot at Thailand. The rocket shells landed in residential areas, villagers and hospitals, injuring and killing several people(violation of the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law ).The damaged area was almost 50 km from the clash point and the border ,at the moment Cambodia has suspended classes for students, while in Thailand, people along the border are still living their lives as usual. Even the student who was killed in the convenience store had still been attending school as normal. Cambodia claims they are too small and weak to attack Thailand — but the facts prove the opposite. Being a small country doesn’t erase these crimes or make them less guilty.

They crossed into Thai territory in early July 2025 and built military structures in a disputed area near the Dangrek Mountains — a region that has been sensitive since the Preah Vihear Temple conflict over a decade ago.

I don’t fully trust either side, but here’s how I see it: 🇹🇭 The Thai government is too slow and messy to start a war or spread fake news — not because they’re good, but because they simply don’t have the ability. 🇰🇭 Cambodia, on the other hand, is a de facto one-party dictatorship. In that kind of system, power is in the hands of one person or a small group — they can decide everything for the whole country and act quickly, especially in a small nation. If a leader under a system like Cambodia’s wants to lie, it happens fast. This kind of government can move quickly and control all the information in the country. Whether it’s spreading fake news, pushing propaganda, or creating an enemy for political reasons — they can do it in a second, with no one inside the country able to stop it. Unlike in Thailand, where everything moves slowly because of all the democratic rules and steps. (Slow, outdated, and reacted so slowly when they were first attacked — already blamed before they could even respond. So embarrassing.) So, if you ask me which country has more ability to spread lies on purpose — the answer is Cambodia. I’m not saying who the real liar or manipulator is… just think about it.
