Blondies beware; long term nettle use (not internally, on hair) will darken your hair. Nettle is used in natural dyeing. However its benefits are absolutely wonderful!

Romanian 🇷🇴 here . My grandma not only does nettles (urzici) tea but soup (Ciorbă, ciorba de urzici) too and we still have nettle shampoo brand in the market same as in the 70's. Green bottle. In 🇷🇴 we still eat , drink, wash our hair - nettle. My mom does good ciorba of nettles

For anyone picking fresh nettles, dont use them once they've began to flower/seed as the leaves become high in calcium carbonate which can be harmful to kidneys. Best foraged in late spring
