Thing is explicit content may be a bad thing but it shouldn’t be up to the government to control access to it or not. As well as the fact no matter the age you have to upload some form of ID to gain access.

Petition would have been created months ago. New petitions take weeks to get approved. Read up on the data collection & sharing sections of the Data Use and Access Act and the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill. There's also an open Call for Evidence about digital ID that closes on 21st August.

I think corn is a plague on our society and it should be limited but introducing this and not education on the subject is absolutely wrong. On the act it has also blocked key websites for lgbt information and help, blocked images and videos on Gaza. The government can use this to push any narrative they want and can warp our view of the world. I know starmer has authoritarian tendencies but this is getting too far. As he’s tried to pander to reform and other right wing movements he himself has started a dangerous step to the right and this could be viewed as a step towards fascism.
