With current political instability in Thailand, I doubt the agreement could take into effect, a martial law by the king's decree on border areas is still active, and only the king holds the card to end this war or not.

According to the unconditional ceasefire agreement brokered in Malaysia between Cambodia and Thailand, both sides were to halt all military activities starting at 12:00 AM tonight. However, at the time of this statement's release, Thai military forces are still firing and launching rockets onto Cambodian soil, forcing Cambodian forces to defend and respond accordingly. We strongly urge ASEAN, the international community, and especially the United States under President Donald Trump, and China under President Xi Jinping ,to take urgent action in response to Thailand’s violation of the ceasefire agreement. Such blatant disregard undermines regional peace efforts and threatens the sovereignty and stability of Cambodia.
