Its not a deal, nothing is signed. Its a framework for negotiations. Just like, Japan, China and Indonesia. Many hurdles before this is over if it ever going to be solved. Trump can change his mind any minute and all 27 european parliaments must ratify it first That will not happen until the real deal i signed. Ursula had oppposite opinions to Trump about the 600 billions today. As far as I can see no promises of buying military equipment. It doesnt say 750 billions of LNG it says 150 billions. The problem is that Trump have "tradedeals with Japan, China and EU. Each energismart promise a delivery 200 of US yearly produktion, interesting to see how US scale up their energiproduktion 600% in 5 months to keep those "deals". There is already named many exeptions for the 15% and the negotiations are far from over. What we saw was a photoop, Trump likes the, especially when they distracts people from the Epsteinfiles and the unaliving of Epstein during his first term.

So imports will cost Americans 15% more while Europeans pay the same but promise to invest more in the US. Sounds great for wealthy investors, not so great for average Americans.

EU take on the deal: So what was already there has been put on paper again: there are no new achievements reached by Trump. (Average tariff on usa products was 1.5% before) The military contracts were already made so no new contracts as EU has pledged that new military investments will go for al least 80% towards European manufacturers (no change there) We will pay no taxes a usa products but they have to comply to EU-standards and no more exceptions for usa products (so don’t comply to our regulations and you don’t t get in, just got harder for the USA to export to EU). And USA consumers pay a 15% tax instead of an average 1,5% before on Eu products with a lot of exceptions (pharma., some tech products/ steel and cars still not clear). So inflation will happenin usa. After the deal the EU has pledged to concentrate on new markets and own market instead of USA as they are not reliable ad we don’t know how long this deal will strand and export prices can go up towards USA (this is the European take on the deal) so up to you if you call it a succes be my guest.
