This advice is LIFE-CHANGING ✅🧠⏰📝 - What does it mean that “your brain is at capacity”?? 🤷🏼♀️ This is especially common when you start high-school or college. You are experiencing so many new things - new faces, new campus, new teachers and classmates etc. You will also likely have heaps of new subjects and assignments, homework and exam dates to remember for each of them. Because your brain is frantically trying to remember and learn all of this, it can get overloaded. Thus, it holds you back from studying because it knows it would have to experience even more information. - HOW CAN YOU FIX IT?? ✅✅ 1️⃣ Create repeatable routines - for example, a morning routine where you complete the same steps in the same order, or a study routine where you study in the same location at the same time every day. This enables your brain to function on auto-pilot, removing some of the workload from daily tasks 📝 . Comment “PLANNER” if you’d like me to DM you how to create a bulletproof Study Routine 📲 . 2️⃣ Second Brain Method - technology to organise your life & manage the information thrown at you you, so that you can focus on important things like study, without being overwhelmed. For example, a Calendar to keep track of events, a To-Do list to track tasks 🧠 . 3️⃣ Time Blocking - at the start of each day, plan out exactly what you’re going to do each day and WHEN. This applies to your entire day, but especially to your study sessions. This will help you avoid decision fatigue, making it easier to move through the day, from one activity to the next.
