@b.thats.me: Did you know the following: 1. Victims of one strangulation are 800 percent more likely to become a victim of homicide by the same partner in the future. 2. Visible injuries are only seen in 50% of strangulation cases. 3. A significant portion of victims (97%) are strangled manually (with hands). Strangulation is serious. You can lose consciousness within 10 seconds of them putting pressure on your jugular vein. If you are experiencing this form of abuse, please please please get out before it’s too late.
