@alexandraskyee_: if you are a traditional recipe purist this is NOT FOR YOU so look away. Everyone else, welcome to my hyperfixation yogurt based tiramisu. INGREDIENTS: 2 cups yogurt (i recommend something without too much tang) 2 eggs 1/3c sugar 1-2 big blobs of Truwhip or Cocowhip (helps with the texture but you can leave it out) 1/2-1tsp almond extract or vanilla extract 1 cup brewed coffee 1 package lady fingers (comment LADY and l'll send you my favorite gluten free ones!) Cocoa powder Pinch of salt METHOD: •separate eggs - add whites to the bowl of a stand mixer and yolks to a mixing bowl •add sugar to the yolks and whisk together until you get a thick creamy yellow paste •add flavor extract and whisk again • fold in yogurt and pinch of salt •whisk egg whites until you get stiff peaks •add egg whites and truwhip to the yolks and gently fold them in •add a thin layer of mixed filling to the bottom of a glass dish • begin dunking lady fingers one by one into coffee and layering them in the pan •add half the cream over the cookies and repeat the process •add your final layer of cream and let the tiramisu sit in the fridge for several hours or overnight before dusting with cocoa and serving This gets better and better as it sits in the fridge and I think you'll be just as obsessed with it as I am!! #healthydessert #highproteinrecipes #tiramisu #fyp #highproteindessert
