I stared, my eyes wide as I glared at the hunter right infront of me. His sniper glare so bright it almost made me flinch. I was innocent. Sure, I hunt and kill animals, but that’s because I need to eat and thrive. Then.. I heard a crackle of a gun echo throughout the dark forest. Everything went black.

This reminds me of 6 grade I drew Wolves in 6 grade and a boy would print out dozens of pictures of wolves and draw a target on each and everyone of them, hold it upp in front of me and just laugh telling me this is how me and my friends would be treated in the real world

Deers are innocence, beings that are yet to be broken, thinking that trusting is easy, when it's instead what will doom them. Wolves are beings triyng to protect their innocence from those they don't trust, even if the don't longer have it, clinging to the belief that maybe, deep down, they are still what they used to be

a wolf doesn't know what it does is "wrong" it hunts and kills because it needs it to survive. its simply doing what its instincts are telling it to so it can continue to live. I feel like this could be a metaphor for harming others without realizing it.
