yes because the camera on the fold seven is so much better than on the original fold. you can't change physics the camera needs to be that big because it has big sensors and big lenses. the camera is just a small portion of the back the entire phone is super thin

Anyone who passes on the Fold 7 because the camera bump is on the larger side is playing themselves at this point because the Fold 7 is a marvel of modern engineering.

I watched the ltt review of the pixel 8 and he was like omg that's a camera mountain it's gonna get stuck on my pocket and you know what? It was completely fine. So thinner body and huge camera bump really doesn't matter. And if you want no camera bump get a red magic phone (iirc)

shouldn't they make the part with the camera bigger an the folding part thinner? you'd have the battery in the camera part en components that need cooling in the thinner part 🤔

The camera bump doesnt really count as youre not holding that thickness, you want thin phone to feel thin. Not because youre sliding it under a door or whatever
