Or just buy an 8BitDo controller… They work with most consoles, smartphones, tablets and PCs. And they’re fairly affordable, especially when compared to genuine controllers from Sony / Nintendo / etc.

I would love to see them work after you've replaced them. Because if you replaced the Joysticks of the original switch 2 controllers with the hall effect ones, they won't work. All because nintendo decided to make the new locking mechanism magnetic... that throws off the hall effect sensors and they're useless. I'm not hating on hall effect sensors, but that is their limitation

Manufacturers haven’t caught up. I don’t believe there is a conspiracy since there is a market for high quality controllers and they will tap in. Mass production can’t change as quick as the tech, so give it a year or two and they will likely become standard when consumer demand takes over.
