@countryminute: Tyler Childers has finally revealed the real reason he does not perform one of his biggest hits live. Feathered Indians is considered a classic amongst many children’s fans, but it hasn’t been performed in over five years. Country music fans have made up many stories for why this might be, from marriage to sobriety, but the truth is far more compassionate. Did you know this? #tylerchilders #featheredindians #countrymusic
In a world of Morgan Wallens, be a Tyler Childers.

He embodies the form of masculinity that should be celebrated and people should strive to replicate it.

I took no offense to it . Iam a daughter of a Cherokee Indian father . . But I can see where it might. Offend someone .

I know we’re here to talk about how amazing he is. And he is, hands down. But can we talk about THE WORK he’s done and how amazing he looks while sober 🥲

This is what it means to be a true ally, I think I need to become a Tyler Childers fan now. Good example of becoming educated and wanting to do better

I doubt most indigenous people even care, it’s a word. There are much bigger problems facing indigenous people. like maybe fact there’s still communities with out clean drinking water. Tyler really wants to help donate to the rez or something

As an indigenous fan of that Tyler. I was also conflicted when I heard the song. And it’s more than just using the word indian, there’s also some antiquated and stereotypical imagery about “rain dances” too. So happy to hear his feelings and to know he’s giving the royalties to indigenous groups and charitiea

So he is like Dolly, learned and grew from his mistakes. Also like Dolly, he gives back.
