@thatgirlcancook__: Soooo, this past weekend… I did a thing, and what a humbling, fulfilling, and unforgettable experience it was! My AMAZING team and I had the honor of serving 115 guests for a beautiful birthday celebration. Every detail, every moment, and every smile reminded me why I started this journey. Truthfully, it took me a while to take the leap. I let fear and self-doubt hold me back for too long. But GOD. 🙌🏾 I’m beyond grateful for the people in my corner, those who uplift me, speak life into me, and support me every single day. Deep down, I always knew I could do this… I just had to get out of my own way and finally go for it. Thank you to everyone who believed in me, encouraged me, and played a role in making this dream a reality... And a HUGE thank you to my sister @Nicole King and Robin Cutter for assisting me and keeping me sane, as well as my father with King’s Kitchen and Royal Events, Ellie Davis, and several other individuals who helped make this event a success. (If only you all knew how many breakdowns I had in the process. 😅) There’s ALWAYS room to grow—and we’re committed to getting better with every opportunity.
