Yes and only place author missed the mark imo. I didn’t grow up w lockdown drills and threats of sh**tings in theaters, events, school, etc. That contributes. It’s not one or the other of course, but both do contribute. Mine have had to practice hiding and being quiet bc of a bad guy since 3. That does something to a child’s brain. It’s no wonder they’re seeking escapism - the mechanism just happens to be phones unfortunately💔
