I would put it on text to speech, 2x. and listen to the whole thing. I will try and see the vision they are going dor and complement them on that is i can see it. then suggest and editor

Wouldn't bother me if you told me straight up. I mean, Id be upset at myself (this has happened before), but not you. I'd actually be thankful for pointing them out. I've had several books edited by an editor that I thought were in good shape after making their corrections only to have a lot more unseen.

Suggest an editor in a gentle way and just move on. Her sales will do the rest of the talking.

I would ask them who their editor is and suggest a few edits. they cannot get better if they are told that bad is good. I'm sure the group is meant to help everyone grow as writers, correct?
