This immediately reminded me of one of my characters for StoneFrost (a fan made mlp thing). There’s a character named Rainbow Obsidian who’s usually seen as weird cause theres hardly any bat ponies in the kingdom. She has two kids, one of them although taking after his dad being a unicorn, still shares traits of being a bat pony like his mom. Jokes on all of the ones who treated her poorly, she’s now head of one of the noble families
