As a Lewis fan I think Max is slightly better in the rain. As great as that drive was, I’ve seen Max defy physics with the lines he was choosing a few years ago, including passing Lewis in a Mercedes.

I love the gumption, grit and guts Charles demonstrated on Sunday holding off Max. SLH was a beast and I'm living for it. Oscar!Oscar! Oscar! What he did was brilliant. Can we talk about the Rookies and the rain??? Spa, at least to me, was far from boring.

Good call by Ferrari. Car is working very well. Hamilton bad qualifying caused Ferrari to change engines and he takes the penalty and starts from the pits as he was already at the back. But it still gave a massive advantage in what is already the 2nd fastest car on the grid. The new PU gives him 15 extra HP and allows to tun qualy laps all the time. The car with its new suspension gets heat into the tyres quicker and while others were getting used to the slicks the Ferrari could dominate with grip and power. . Could see it with Max vs charles. Max could not overtake CL. The Ferrari is the second fastest car. Martin Brundle said at the beginning of the race he expected Hamilton to get P5. Bit because it’s Hamilton and his not that quick, he could not overtake Albon. Ferrari did all they could do to help him. But we need to move on from this now. His not the driver Ferrari need. We need max. Max would win with that Ferrari if he can win with that crappy RB.

I love how Charles knows how to terrorise Max and match his crazy. Max even said in the press briefing, his main focus will only be to try to pass Charles.

As good as it was to see Lewis doing well during the race I think it should’ve been expected considering a lot of the overtakes were on cars that have been slower this season and also due to his terrible quali being able to change his wing to a higher downforce and wet setup with the new engine definitely helped, not to mention the great strategy call by Ferrari which helped him until the track was fully dry which then turned his early advantage into a disadvantage because it caused the lico and didn’t give him enough straight line speed due to the wing
