lol my agent put the home in market for 50k over what we said. cuz I looked at the data. obviously the home didn't sell and we took it off the market. there are lots of greedy agents too :)

The biggest mistake I’ve made over the years is not trusting my agent and driving a higher asking price. It never worked out well. We recently sold my mom’s house and I beat my brothers into submission to list at the agent’s recommendation. It ended up in a bidding war and sold well above asking. Trust your agent!

Our problem was that the prices in our neighborhood shot up in value quickly while we were trying to buy. The mortgage company was the hold up …it’s like they were 6 months behind on values of houses. We switched to a very local mortgage broker who understood.

I think prices were pushed to the limits and people were taken advantage of. Now we have to roll back to old pricing scale so the realtors can sell a house to make a commission. I really think sellers are sitting on the fence and strategically deciding if a realtor is really needed
