This happened to my daughter at papa john’s they expected her to stay past her shift because her “relief” called out she said no so they switched her schedule up the next Thursday to make it look like she did a no call no show and fired her.

when I worked at pizza hut we got a new manager. 3 days in he decided he didnt want to be there so he looked at me and told me I was in charge and not to bother him. I was a deliver driver at that point. he left and didnt come back. I didnt know what I was doing lol. I had to call the shift leaders and ask them to help me figure out how to do stuff. corporate didnt do anything even after multiple complaints were put in.

A lot going on here.. When you terminate someone you have to discuss it with HR, and have just cause. You would never fire someone on the floor, no privacy. HR would NEVER tell someone that they were supposed to fire someone else, against privacy laws. 😳
