I think people forget that prisons are filled with people. Actual human beings that are alive.. This is awful and has been proven not to work... You wanna change people therapy and actual rehabilitation, not trauma and fear that just creates more violence in the world.✨

i cant stand people who think prison should be rehabilitation. some dont deserve that. drugs offences and thieves sure. but murderers grapists and abusers dont deserve anything. death penalty should be more done. especially for grapists and killers

and the world wonders why Norway and Sweden have less reoffending rates, I work with people in the c3 program (Australian program where prisoners go out and work) mate they way there treated is less then animals half the time and thats on criminals with petty crimes like drug dealing or a single assault charge

unpopular opinion but I'm pretty sure a massive percentage of people in prison have historical trauma that has contributed to them committing crime so would intende therapy not be more effective then reacting like this. I totally agree prison officers should be safe at work but reacting with violence/inducing fear isn't really teaching them much better 🤷♀️
