You gave a cynical take on Christianity but skipped a similar one for Islam: God sent multiple prophets across time, each giving partial messages. Humanity kept messing up, so finally, He sent one last prophet with the final, complete system. We’re judged by our actions but only if we submit to this last message.

Adam and Eve didn‘t even repent. That‘s why God curse us all (keep in mind God always has a plan!) then He gave a piece of Himself and is only Son (the Messiah) to the world (like He said in the old Testament) and He died for all of our sins in His human form.
