The gender is based off of the male so this study makes no sense. Female is XX and male XY so the sperm is either an X or a Y. Studies show that Y are faster swimmers which is why more of the population tends to be male but X are stronger and can withstand stress and living in the uterus longer waiting for an egg.

I remember learning in grade school we've known this forever and its dependent on the dad actually (king Henry only being able to have girls and it was his fault despite going through so many wives)

My friend used Chinese calendar and got two boys. When I had my 3 kids, we only used Chinese calendar on last child to go for a boy cause we had two girls. We got our boy. We didn’t know about Chinese calendar when we had our girls.
