I think that’s ultimately the downside with most ‘cozy-games’ that AAA companies try to reach for. Too much on the cozy, and not enough on the actual depth. That’s half of what makes those games so cozy to begin with, and few have seemed to match that feeling everybody is searching for. Coziness is what you make of something, not mass-produced.

My big concern is why do the stuff? The way it looks it just seems like doing stuff for the sake of doing it, rather than there being a point or goal of some kind like in stardew.

I'm saddened but not surprised to hear the kind of negative reviews about this one. I had a weird feeling about it from the start but I would have loved to have been wrong because I'm a big LOTR and cozy game fan. With the price and what I'm hearing and seeing in the reviews I definitely won't be picking this one up sadly.

Nobody wants to talk about why game companies don’t make a lord of the rings remaster of LOtR two towers, or Return of the King. Wanna know why? Because of EA. And Warner bros. They own that license. So it’s impossible to get that !
