Do you have palliative care? Not hospice. Palliative care will help manage your symptoms while you are still pursuing aggressive treatment. They might have more options for pain/nausea than your oncologist.

You don’t need to worry about your mom, she is an adult and she will figure it out. You need to stay focused on your own mental health and get medication to help with nausea and pain. Your mom should be with you everyday, cooking for you and taking care of you so you don’t have to be stressed.

Palliative care made a significant difference for me - i have advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension and one removed, kidney, etc. my dr referred me to palliative care last year and it was a game changer. As a former employment lawyer, they almost always take cases on contingency. If your mom has a valid claim, she should be able to get representation without paying a penny up front. ❤️❤️❤️Ask bout being put on Palliative Care. It’s NOT Hospice. But it can provide many more options in pain meds, comfort care, emotional support, etc. I’ve been on Palliative Care and it was tremendously helpful. ❤️❤️❤️
