👏👏 Not only is this beneficial for you, but this is SO mentally stimulating for him too. Mental stimulation like people watching/public exposure or learning to “do nothing” at a coffee shop etc can work a dogs brain way more then the same routine of a structured walk/obedience. Good work!

yes!! at least once a week i’ll take my dog on a drive to dutch bros after our walk (we don’t live in a walkable city) & it makes it more rewarding

this is so true! I have two active dogs in an apartment and I LOVE being outside with them. But they can be high maintenance and things require some planning (and having back up plans). Usually things end up super fun and successful, but it can be tiring!
