it takes time to get the form right to the point where it doesnt hurt! from what I can see, ur letting all the weight down and its even dragging down ur knees. What helped ME was that someone said to push up with ur heels!! Also u NEED to tighten your core!!

Maybe less weight and focus on your form & reps, this was me I didn’t add big weight till I got my form right cause having that form is very important to prevent injuries

Maybe try a different way of hip thrust. If you have lower back issues you can do it with wide legs and still get glute progress look up different ways of hip thrusting here on TikTok and you’ll get great feedback. Take arnica tea or Boiron arnica pallets.☺️

Maybe don’t go as low?? Just to the point where you feel it on your glutes should be enough! Mabe KAS hip thrusts will be better for you! I hate that machine though I feel like the bar is better for hip thrusts

Personally, I like to position my legs a bit closer. & go up to where I can clench the buns🍑 & downwards barely touching the seat☺️Maybe try the smith machine & see if that makes a difference for you!

tbh it might be that machine? I used a similar at pf and it would hurt my lower back bad and I wouldn’t go as heavy but now I use the smith machine or barbell and it’s wayyy better for me

I think you're pulling from your back. You're suppose to imagine you're squeezing/hold a ball between your legs and tightened your core. Also maybe lower your weight or change it up the workout. Hope this work.
