I never did support Ukraine, nor Russia! But I do know, why? Because like every democracy in America we had corruption too. The protest isn't about the war, but a bill that has been passed for the corruption. It's hasn't been signed by zelenskyy, even the solder on the front line rejects this bill. Hopefully the president does too.

According to all of the sources that I looked at, BBC News, Politico EU, Aljazeera, and others, report that Zelensky signed the bill making it a law last Tuesday. Then, with a quick about face, 24 hours later said he would restore the independence of these agencies that you mentioned. A new law, restoring the old law, will be voted on this Thursday. So, he didn’t just try to do it. He actually did it and only when the large protest erupted did he dial it back.
