What makes this whole situation funny is the fact that the people who mention alice usually mention that she has a husband, which sort of has really misogynistic undertones to it since they can’t seperate Alice from ‘having a husband’. That’s just my opinion though

the only part that I agree with the BranOnline is the reason why Alice left klee with jean was because of how her job can be a bit dangerous to let a kid tag along. Though, I know it's not necessarily confirmed, but I do find it reasonable for Alice to do so.
