@lizlovery: ✨The ADOBE Project: Living Room & Fireplace✨ It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do with this fireplace, but I’m really happy with how it turned out! If you’ve ever tried to tackle a painted brick fireplace before, you know how limited your options can be when it comes to giving it a new look—especially when there’s a specific interior design style you’re trying to achieve! Because this fireplace is non-functioning (and didn’t really fit the Adobe & Spanish style of the house), we decided to Sheetrock over it and add a red umber tile to contrast the Saltillo floors along the inside, hearth, and around the arch to bring a fun southwest look and feel. This fireplace is now a focal point instead of an eyesore & really leans into the Adobe style of this home!
