@theepochofshadows: America's manufacturing heartland was gutted almost overnight as companies offshored jobs to countries with lower labor costs and fewer regulations. The result was the loss of millions of manufacturing jobs and the collapse of entire communities, while the companies and banks that benefited were rewarded.
Greedy big corporations thought they would get cheap labor in other countries on and on . None of them had the foresight to see that eventually these countries would out them .

I was a factory worker in Pennsylvania at the time, The politicians and business "leaders" shuttered plants all across former manufacturing regions. The workers were told to learn how to "code." Now AI has come after coders

No they didn't ruin this country, it was the cowards that just sit back and let government do whatever it wanted to, just like now. But it's too late now. Life is over.
Question: How do you stop 300+ angry Americans from attacking their corrupt government?
Answer: Mind control.

My first white collar position was running one of the first on-site service companies using AT&T network systems as our repair arm... I lost my position from sending our call center overseas.... AND I had to deal with ppl from India asking me questions about OUR equipment... I quit not too long after... This was 1986
