Level up your cookie game, these 10 baking tips will make a huge difference👇 	1.	Bake a tester cookie first. Don’t risk the whole batch! Bake one cookie and adjust as needed. If the cookie spreads too much, mix in ¼ cup of flour. If it doesn’t spread enough, add 1 tablespoon of milk. You can bake another tester until they’re just right. 	2.	Heat-treat your flour for edible cookie dough. Raw flour isn’t safe to eat as-is. To heat-treat it, spread a thin layer on a baking sheet and bake at 300°F for about 10 minutes, or until it reaches 160°F. You can also reheat in a 350°F oven for 5–10 minutes. For frosted cookies, thaw uncovered at room temp. Avoid reheating, as it can melt the frosting. 	6.	Crush your M&M’s for better cookies. Instead of mixing in whole M&M’s, crush them first! This helps distribute the chocolate evenly throughout each bite and gives the cookie a better texture. Use a nut chopper or roll them in a bag with a rolling pin. 	7.	Know your scoop size + bake time. Not all cookies bake the same but here’s a quick guide: • #40 scoop: 7–9 minutes • #24 scoop: 9–11 minutes • #12 scoop: 11–13 minutes • #8 scoop: 15–17 minutes 	8.
