Thailand has been helping Cambodia for years giving education to Cambodian children near the border, and letting them receive medical treatment in Thai hospitals. Thailand loses hundreds of millions of US dollars every year doing this. What Thailand got was a hospital bombing?... Why?... And Thailand has always desired peace and has supported the Cambodian people in many ways for decades. Thai hospitals have treated Cambodian patients free of charge, and numerous scholarships have been granted to Cambodian students.
Looking back at history, during the Khmer Rouge regime, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit helped establish refugee camps to provide safety and support. Thai employers have also hired many Cambodian workers, enabling them to earn a living and send money home to their families.
Despite all these efforts, it often feels like nothing Thailand does is ever enough.
