Was going home across the country for 10 days and couldn’t bear to be without her, drove 22 hours each way so I could bring her and spent WAY more on gas than I would’ve spent on a flight. Worth it.

Saw a scab on his belly and convinced myself he had ringworm. $150 and a panicked drive to the urgent vet, he had a ✨brush burn✨. His grandpawrents were over within the hour with a his favorite treats and a lavender infused plushie to help him “recover” 🥲

Let’s see, he’s got horrendous IBD so about $120/month for food, thousands of dollars in training, thousands in gear and car kennel, he’s got some chronic back pain so $1000 for injections last week & then about $60 biweekly for medications, can’t have normal pill pockets bc IBD so special pill paste $14/canister that lasts 6 weeks, only 2 brands of treats that are $16/bag and last roughly 3 weeks, a spectra laser jacket to help w his back that was $556, $46 pet insurance a month, the list goes on 🤩 I literally have a ?

Vet told me that she couldn’t fly anymore, so we drove 22 hours each way to make sure she got all the holiday festivities in!

In 2023 my dog played in both the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean… in San Diego and the Hamptons. Also he’s too large to fly so you do the math.

My birthday had to include the doggies. Booked a dog centered hotel right on OB Dog Beach for my boy and his doggy cousin... also made sure to book a pet friendly boat ride because he had never been on a boat before. Worth it.
