@beaglefreedom: 🚨148 beagles were recently rescued from a backyard breeder and abuser in Oklahoma, a heartbreaking situation brought to light by local authorities and the Humane Society of Tulsa. BFP quickly stepped in to help, and that’s how #OperationAthena began. Over the past two weeks, we’ve welcomed these dogs into safety, giving them their very first baths, soft beds, toys, medical care, and most importantly, love and compassion they’ve never known. ❤️‍🩹 But the medical exams told a devastating story: severe dental disease, tumors, parasites, flystrike, and even hernias.
