Yall, a doctor asked me “do you work out?” And when I said yes including waterfasting for over 4-5 days periods and intermittent, he said “just do 100 burpees a day”. So… what should tell yall how educated doctors are on PCOS

As a girl that was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago, I absolutely hated it at first cause the birth control I was given at first didn’t help me cause I gained weight with it, but now 5 years later I found a pill that can help me with my cycle and I lost a little bit of weight and im still trying to get my weight down more, but I’m scared of gaining it again

I knew I’ve had PCOS for years, was consistently gaslit by medical professionals because “ lose 50lbs and you’ll be all better” I had to REFER MYSELF TO AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST TO FINALLY GET MY DIAGNOSIS! Diagnosed PCOS and Hypothyroidism smh

I have PCOS and on birth control to fix my hormones and regulate my period. Anyway, period hell, so I went to see a doctor of why it's hell. Turns out I have adenomyosis, too 😭

I don’t think I have PCOS. I definitely have some sort of hormonal imbalance but my question is the girls who have it I’m confused why would they recommend birth control when that gives more hormones? Am I wrong? Can someone explain it to me like why do doctors prescribe birth control? Does it actually help because when I was on birth control it made me have way hormonal issues
