he’s not better than Kelce as a receiving TE. Kittle can do everything but win. Gronk and Kelce are top 2 with Tony at 3. you’re also forgetting SHANNON SHARPE AND ANTONIO GATES. he’s not top 5, and never will be top 5.

These other two guys are just about stats. Kittle might be #1 overall since the position isn’t just a receiver. He’s a blocker as often or more often than a receiver. That matters at this position.

IMO I can’t out gronk that high due to him having Brady as his QB his entire career he even followed him to Tampa Bay and little was able to be great with trash QBs

If the niners actually invested in oline and didn’t need to rely on kittle for blocking he would easily have 1500 yards every single year. If u gave him bowers targets he would’ve had 1700 yards

Kittle is a better blocker than all of them except maybe Gronk. Kittle averages more yards per catch 13.7 vs 12.3), more yards after the catch (7.3 vs 5.3), and a higher blocking grade (in 2023, Kittle's run-blocking grade was 81.1, while Kelce's was 46.9) In 2024 Kittle (#1) had an overall PFF of 92.1 vs Kelce’s #15) 70.9. Kelce is a glorified slot receiver at this point of his career. He’s not playing like a true TE, this doesn’t diminish his abilities as a receiver but it does when evaluating him as a TE.

As far as complete TEs go, George and Rob are top 2 all time, if you want to compartmentalize the skill sets, Kelce has just been in the league longer and has played with an all time great QB vs George who’s played half his career with Nick Mullens and CJ Beathard. When George hangs em up I think his receiving stats will be comparable to Kelce
