Heard it’s a pretty good DAW to start with, especially if you just starting to make music but ain’t serious enough for a whole subscription for a more “serious” DAW. If you just recording yourself on your phone you don’t get to mess with all the little settings in there that help people be creative and find they own sounds.

Lazer Dim 700 blew up off of bandlab songs where he would jack the beat from random YouTube DJs. anything is possible.

I mean your not wrong but your not right I mean I paid studio prices and used BandLab and feel like either way just comes down to having the right equipment and most of all it comes down to you need to invest in your craft in order to gain what you seek

It's cool but to my ears the quality of the recordings from it isn't great. The vocals always are a bit harsh.

Exactly.. bro I get so annoyed by this. I'm a producer, rapper, singer, metal artist as well.. I do it all. I record vocals on my phone for tiktok content even tho I have a computer setup just for fun but I at least add the mp3/.wav to the video and label it as vocals recorded with phone mic. but if I'm actually tryin to showcase something I'm using my actual microphone and such... I do it like this on purpose to give people a feel for how I'll sound live or to encourage ppl to make music wherever you are an not give up. But these ppl that only use their phones and act like they are professionals.. I can't stand it. This pic is one of my home studio setups. I have 2 in different locations. this is my kick bk an have fun room though. lol

Do what works for you. Drown out the noise. 10k mic or iPhone mic it doesn’t matter. If the song sucks…the song sucks

Nah I get the sentiment but i gotta disagree. I don’t use bandlab but i do know that it gives you WAY more control and creativity as far as adding effects and making a song closer to its ideal version than you would just recording a video in the background. Now the quality may not be the best in the world but it’s a good starting point for someone still learning and tryna get they feet wet. Everyone starts somewhere. I feel like what he’s describing only really works if you make more live/acoustic type music which most bandlab users don’t. But you can always record a video later either way. Just do what works for you🤷🏾♂️
