Switch to reserves my love, getting out is a bittersweet feeling & some just never adjust back to “civilian” life 100%. Reserves meanwhile working for PD at home honestly saved me.

Do you have a plan afterwards? A place to stay? Will the job you’re applying for offer health insurance? Did you gain any skills from your current job that you can use in the civilian world that can help you lining up a job? if the answer is no. Stay in. It’s a lot harder out here & you won’t have someone to hold your hand & support you.

You can always enlist in reserves to continue service if you really don’t want to leave, but want to pursue other endeavors.
