@juliannetaylorstyle: Our children are watching how we treat others. This is the kind of legacy I want go leave behind. #kindnessmatters #kindnessisfree #greenscreen
One could say diversity, equity and inclusion is important to us being good people.

I dated a female from Jordan in 8th grade and she told me so much of there culture so now I don’t believe anything our gov says about them

thats amazing but if you vote for facism and to take rights away from others, it negates everything you think you stand for

As a combat veteran, I made so many lifelong friends in Afghanistan. Sitting down on a carpet and sharing tea m, bread and grilled lamb with Afghans when I was deployed just made me a better person. I learned a lot about them and that changed me during my 3rd and last deployment. My goal is to return there when it's more safe for me to go..

This is why international travel is so important! I have lived in the ME and broke bread with many of the local community and it changed me as a human being. Which is a good thing.

One of the greatest weaknesses of Americans is that so few of us travel internationally (for some very good reasons; I’m not trashing anyone.) People are the same everywhere, and if we have the chance to meet them and see that for ourselves, it becomes so much harder to “other” them.

Ma’am. These are the posts I really love to see. There’s so much 💩 being posted on here. So many hateful people. Thank you for sharing! I agree with you and I would also be asking questions! It’s how we learn about people who are different from us. Thank you!!!! 😊 🫶🏼

This goes hand in hand with why it’s a good idea to teach about people’s differences in school. Whether it’s culture, identities, etc.

As a middle easterner please don’t be shy to ask questions about culture! We love to share it with people! The black ring on the shawl is called “ugal” and if you unfurl it, you can fit a camel’s legs inside to keep them from moving at night in the desert while we sleep! 😊 The shawl or “ghitra” protected us from the sun & sandstorms as we traveled across. The clothing is our heritage - and we still go to work with it today! It’s considered “business/daily wear” 😄

Wish my ex wife was as open as you are. I once took her to dinner with a gay couple. She barely said two words all night. I had a great time learning that love is love. She’s still trying to pray away the gay in the world and I’m out here knowing that an open mind beats all!

I absolutely love this! I’m an ESL teacher and our classroom gets along. But when we don’t, we talk, ask questions, discuss. If kids can get along in peace, we all can because inclusion is so much better than exclusion. 💗

Other cultures love to teach others about their own culture. I have found this. I love middle eastern culture. They are by far the kindest people ever. Thank you for making this video. Love this! ❤️

As someone who lives and teaches in a very diverse suburb outside Detroit I stay because it is/was important for my kids to go to schools where they didn't look like everyone else.
