Look, if anyone’s mad at James Gunn for recasting Vigilante, they’re missing the real point. Chris Conrad filmed over five episodes, was paid, and respectfully chose to step away because his take on the character didn’t match the creative direction. Gunn was building a weird, cheerful, unhinged version, and Conrad’s more serious tone didn’t align. That is not disrespect, that is creative clarity. Studios cannot afford tone gaps. If Conrad had adapted, he would still be in the role. He didn’t, and that is okay. But it wasn’t Gunn’s fault, it was just a vision mismatch. That is how professional storytelling works.

James if you see this thank you for making me feel like a kid again at Superman I usually watch Superman with my grandfather on Thanksgiving and due to his health couldn't go and see this in theaters so I'm hoping by Thanksgiving he'll see this beautiful film and remember who is favorite character was again
