This just happened to me!!! Wanted me to be a lead (2 and 1/2 months after hire) with 0 extra compensation but a potential end of year bonus. I'll pass. I explained it to them just like this!! I have managed for years and I'm super good, tried to push me anyways and had to fall short on purpose to be left alone. 🙃

It's more of they aren't providing a proper training plan it makes me think "why would I want to take on more responsibility in an environment that already doesn't provide good training ??"

there is no point in being a manager anymore it used to have actual benefits now it's just a soul sucking position that fucks u I did a manager position for 14 years and now I'm not one and I'll never be one again when I interviewed for my new job I was asked if I'd be interested in a manager position and I said in all due respect I said absolutely not.
