Photography from a phone or a camera is a ikhtilafi matter. Some say it’s permissible, some say it’s haram. however both are respected and permissible opinions to act upon.

Taking a photo of an animal or a person isnt like DRAWING that same image tho. How is there punishment for capturing relfecting light its not the same as drawing or painting something thats living

a camera doesn't "make" an image it just captures and reflects light exactly how we see it. this would be different to drawing something from scratch because when drawing ur actually creating something new. With a camera, ur just capturing the reflection of light. The reason we shouldn't create images is because this is seen as rivaling Allah's creation, which would make taking pictures different because ur capturing something that already exists

taking photos is not tasweer, its light reflecting a piece of object if u move the camera that object will dissappear. Also its allowed for passport photos, id, identification and important things. Also drawing flowers other objects is fine as long as its not a sould (humans and animals).

why is drawing/sculpting humans or animals as a hobby so wrong if it isn’t being idolized, how is this considered “creating life” (a living, breathing being with a soul) when it’s simply a replication of real life drawn onto paper or sculpted out of clay.
