They wouldn’t let us talk or touch our kid coming out of anesthesia! They said it could overstimulate him and do more harm than good!

Not exactly the same, but close. 4th grade, had my appendix out, it ruptured, bad infection, in the hospital for weeks. Like night 2 after surgery I was on so many antibiotics I had terrible diarrhea (sorry). Shit the bed, my dad helped me to the bathroom then stepped out of the room to get a nurse and right then the clowns came in. Doing tricks, balloon animals, everything. They noticed I wasn’t in the bed, saw the shit everywhere, me shitting my brains out with the door open. One of them left a balloon animal on the bathroom floor, said “feel better” and walked away. If my dad hadn’t walked back in at the end of them being there, I would have assumed I hallucinated the whole thing

I have this game called ghost masters where you control ghosts to scare people away…. One of their powers makes this noise…. I’d be jolting out of bed🤣

Kids coming out of anesthesia is actually SO traumatic tho?! 😭😭😭 Like, they gave us a whole spiel about it when my son had to be put under and they were right, it was awful. WHY would they do THIS?
