I had to be induced. They admitted me at night, but refused to induce before a specific time in the morning, because the Dr didn’t want to be “off” when I delivered. My niece, and many friends had c sections so that their Dr could get off work “on time”.

Narrow Path :
My OB wants to induce me at 39 weeks bc I’m over 40. I have a midwife and would rather birth naturally. What are your suggestions on inductions after 40? I don’t want to be forced into unnecessary interventions.

I pushed for an hour, Dr. said ‘I think we’ll have to do a c-section’. My husband said ‘if it’s not necessary we should wait’. Baby was born 5 min after 🙃

40+2 weeks today, sooo over being pregnant. But I hate being asked by everyone if I want an induction since I am over. Yes I want this baby out but not from an induction that isn’t needed

I told my doctor I don’t want an c-section just bc it’s easier and I want a VB and going to remind them I want to do different positions I had a midwife and they just changed me to a physician bc I am high risk and on insulin

I only got induced with my kids because I am type one diabetic and can't go to the full 40 weeks.

Here in Iceland we literally have to beg for inductions and c-sections.

I didn't realize until years later, but while giving birth to my first, they must've inserted my catheter wrong or something because after I gave birth they had to reinsert the catheter because I couldn't pee and I peed like 32 OUNCES. That's twice as much as what our bladder is supposed to hold😩 no wonder I had a 3rd degree tear from birthing my 8lbs 4oz baby🙄 They're lucky I didn't have any complications from that and too young and inexperienced to know better or I would've sued

Hitting 40 weeks today with #4. Probably going to 40.5 based on my history and that’s OKAY. Driving me crazy to see my birth month mommas mostly giving birth via c section. I want to take a poll. It HAS to be over 50%.

First time mom.. I just stood firm about not inducing before my due date. I got lucky and went into labor naturally when my doctor suggested inducing me (39 weeks) He came in like “wow your body is made for this! Good job!” Ugh..

I wish I would have hired a doula but it’s too late now. 😭 They want to induce me Friday 1 day before due date due to suspected macrosomia and protein that’s been in my urine. I still keep going back and forth but they think it’s safest but I’m not prepared at all.
